Build Peace 2024 will take place on
November 14 – 16 in Manila, the Philippines.

Open Now – The Build Peace Call for Proposals is open from now until 30 June, 2024

We value experience and expertise beyond our immediate network. Every year, we make a public call for applications to deliver sessions. Sessions can be:

  • Short Talks of 10 minutes. Choose this format to present a practical example of your conflict transformation work.  We explicitly invite you to also boldly present something that has not worked.
  • Workshops of 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours. This can be anything that allows for a participatory learning experience: an introduction to a conflict transformation method, a technology tool, a guided walk, a maker space, an art- or movement based offering, or anything else you can imagine that will contribute to our collective learning.
  • A physical or movement-based art installation. If you want to perform or bring or set up an art installation exploring these year’s themes, this is your format. Please note that Build Peace is unable to fund the production costs of your installation.

Don’t delay – Register for the Conference

Every year, around 300 people gather annually at Build Peace conference events. Participants come from more than 75 different countries, working in national and international NGOs, the UN system, academic institutions, civil society organizations, grassroots organizing and the private sector. Participants are responsible for all their logistics including flights, accommodation and visa.

Tickets are sold on a pay-what-you-can basis, because the conference is better when it is accessible to everyone.
