The conference will take place on October 18 – 24, 2021 on a virtual platform.
Some conference sessions will also take place in person at Philippi Village in Cape Town, South Africa, and livestreamed to the virtual conference. Sessions with in-person options are detailed in the conference program.
Register as a participant
Every year, between 150 and 350 people attend Build Peace as participants. Participants bring their experience to conference sessions, sharing it in questions, discussions and networking.
Conference registration gives access to both virtual and in-person attendance.
Conference tickets are donation based
We ask you to consider your economic possibilities, and decide on a price that you are willing to pay. In previous years, attendees have donated between US$10 and US$800. All ticket sales go towards covering the costs of running the conference. Registration will open soon, sign up to our newsletter to be notified.
Apply to Contribute
We value the experience and expertise beyond our immediate network. Every year, we make a public call for applications to deliver sessions.
Before applying to contribute, please review the conference program to ensure your contribution speaks to the Build Peace 2021 themes.
The application deadline is July 31 for all contributions.
