The Build Peace Call for Proposals

We value experience and expertise beyond our immediate network. Every year, we make a public call for applications to deliver sessions, talks and art installations. This is the Build Peace community at its best—sharing, challenging, learning.

Register for the Conference

Every year, around 300 people gather annually at Build Peace conference events. Participants come from more than 75 different countries, working in national and international NGOs, the UN system, academic institutions, civil society organizations, grassroots organizing and the private sector. Tickets are sold on a pay-what-you-can basis, because the conference is better when it is accessible to everyone.

Support the conference

We are seeking partners and sponsors to help us bring Build Peace 2026 to Waterloo. Organizations able to make this commitment are integral to building this important community of practice. Our partners and participants regularly express their appreciation for the conference as a venue for learning, networking, and enabling action. The conference is widely recognised as a catalyst for the strengthening of the ecosystem of social innovation for peace.
